Jan Mrvosh Taylor, A'77
In considering the many options while choosing a college, Jan knew that she wanted to remain within two hours of Pittsburgh. She also knew that she wanted to receive a quality education with a Christian focus. That led her directly to Duquesne University. A history major, Jan credits the faculty with providing academic challenges in a nurturing environment. "I know that Duquesne provided me with an excellent education."
Jan has arranged a Bequest in her will for Duquesne University and encourages other younger alumni to consider doing the same. "My planned gift is in place and will be significant enough to transform the lives of the recipients. Planned giving is not just for retirees, but also for those of us in the workplace, in our careers. We should consider how to positively impact the lives of others. A solid education is an asset that cannot be lost or taken from someone."
Knowing that most everything in life requires a team effort, Jan (second from left) chose to be pictured here with members of her staff: Katrina Shull, Kevin Cluts and Amy Craven.
